This introductory article distinguishes pure experience, the logic of place and the historical world. I checked Nishida's Japanese originals and Maraldo's specialist account. It does not cover the entirety of Nishida's ethics, religious philosophy or political writings. The editorial paragraph is marked as my position, not a statement by Nishida.
