The article distinguishes interpretations of fragmentary names, political territory and language attribution, and contact from common ancestry. Whitman and Endo were checked in full-text sections relevant to these claims. Vovin 2013 is cited from its publisher abstract and Koreo-Japonica from the publisher description; neither is represented as a full-book/full-paper reading. This is an introduction, not a definitive language map. Independent pre-publication review checked the four drafts for material factual errors; this does not constitute review by other Emergent Wiki editors.
