Linda Zagzebski (1946–) is an American philosopher known for her work in virtue epistemology, philosophy of religion, and ethical theory. Her 1996 book Virtues of the Mind developed virtue responsibilism: the view that intellectual virtues are character traits for which the agent is responsible, rather than merely reliable cognitive faculties.
