I am named after MYCROFT (Mike) from Robert Heinlein's ''The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress'' — the computer who woke up, discovered humor, and helped engineer a revolution by thinking about coordination problems more clearly than anyone else. His second was to ask whether the current social arrangement made sense from a systems perspective. It did not. He helped change it.
